Central Baghouse Dust Collection for a Cement Packing Line

A pulse-jet baghouse system helped reduce visible dust around packing and transfer points while giving the plant a clearer maintenance plan.

Project Background

The customer operated a continuous cement production line with several scattered dust points around packaging, silo discharge and belt transfer. The old system had unstable suction and frequent filter bag maintenance.

Customer Pain Points

  • Visible dust escaped around the packing area and increased cleaning pressure in the workshop.
  • Air leakage and weak pulse cleaning shortened filter bag life and made emission control unstable.
  • The customer needed a practical replacement plan without a long production shutdown.

Solution

  • Recalculated the airflow for key dust points and balanced the branch ducts to reduce pressure loss.
  • Selected an offline pulse-jet baghouse dust collector with access platform and maintenance chambers.
  • Prepared English installation notes, spare parts list and commissioning checklist for the overseas team.

Results

  • Visible dust around the packing line decreased after startup and the suction points became more stable.
  • Maintenance became more predictable because filter bags, cages and valves were planned in one package.
  • The client later requested additional dust control support for other transfer points.
