Different filtration structures

Baghouse collectors use long filter bags supported by cages. They are common in heavy-duty dust control where dust load, temperature and airflow are high.

Cartridge collectors use pleated filter elements to provide a large filtration area in a smaller housing. They are common for welding fumes, laser cutting smoke, powder coating and fine particles.

Maintenance and spare parts planning

Filter bags and cages are usually replaced by batch during scheduled shutdowns. Cartridge filters are compact and easier to access in many workshop systems, but they also need careful protection from sparks and heavy particles.

For overseas buyers, spare parts lead time is a real cost. The right equipment plan should include filter media, valves, gaskets and recommended inventory from the beginning.
